According to Sony's weekend estimates, Quantum of Solace, which opened in the UK, France and Sweden this weekend, grabbed the equivalent of $38.6 million on 2,123 prints, generating more than $18,000 per print.

This is 35% bigger than the 11.427 million pounds launch of Casino Royale. Quantum captured a massive 70% of the U.K. box office this weekend.
France's Opening Numbers: Weekend estimate of 8.2 million euros beats Casino Royale 's 7.056 million by 16% for the biggest Bond launch ever, and in just 3 days. Casino Royale 's opening was during the standard French 5-day weekend.
