This week, Fandango released a survey which revealed what blockbusters audiences are looking forward to the most.

2008 was an excellent year for online movie ticket sales. Strong advance ticketing for such films as The Dark Knight and Twilight gave an early indication of how well those films would perform during their opening frames.

It comes as no surprise that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince ranks in the top 5 on both lists. The same can be said for X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which, with its May 1 release date, will be the first major release of the summer season.

Star Trek is obviously a film that will skew heavily male, but Paramount can gain a little confidence in the fact that it was still able to rank #6 on the Women's Most Anticipated List.

Michael Mann's Public Enemies could be a very strong hit in July, and it has landed on both lists. The teaming of Johnny Depp and Christian Bale should result in some strong box office results.
