'Thor: The Dark World' Hits $26M

Thor: The Dark World is enjoying its run as one of the year’s top releases in Brazil. The Thor sequel has grossed a total of $26 million in the market and is the year’s #3 film in the country behind Despicable Me 2 ($35.6M) and Iron Man 3 ($48.3M). Brazil trails China ($50.6M), Russia ($35.6M), and the United Kingdom ($30.9) among the top overseas performers for the film. Thor: The Dark World has grossed a total of $591.1 million worldwide, with $404.4 million of that figure coming from outside of North America. The original Thor grossed a total of $18.3 million in Brazil.
