Having passed Transformers: Dark of the Moon's $172.25 million, Journey only trails Lost In Thailand ($202.1 million) and Avatar ($203.8 million) on China's all-time chart.

Sunday Update: Warner Bros. reports that The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is up to $37.5 million after 10 days of release in China. The fantasy flick passed the $1 billion global mark this week thanks to a boost from China.
Universal reports that Les Mis took in a respectable $3.9 million from 5,000 locations in China over the weekend. That's strong enough to top the debut of other Oscar-nominated flicks such as The King's Speech and Slumdog Millionaire. Final numbers are due late Monday/early Tuesday.
