'Hunger Games' Manages Fourth #1 Finish

With $6.45 million in the bank on Friday and $9.4 million on Saturday, The Hunger Games is poised to finish in first place for the fourth weekend in a row. Lionsgate's juggernaut probably won't hit the $400 million mark domestically by the end of its theatrical run, but it could end up pretty close.

The Three Stooges will finish in second place this weekend. 20th Century Fox's comedy managed a respectable $5.6 million on Friday and nearly $7 million on Saturday. The audience breakdown is 58% male/42% female and 52% over 25/48% under 25. A 71% combined approval rating on Flixster from more than 24,1000 users indicates that word-of-mouth is lukewarm.

The Cabin in the Woods grabbed $5.5 million on Friday and nearly $5.7 million on Saturdaya solid hold for a horror flick. The audience breakdown is 57% male/43% female and 65% over 25/35% under 25. Word-of-mouth is strong thanks to an 81% combined approval rating from more than 28,500 Flixster users.

Lockout managed only $2.2 million on Friday and $2.5 million on Saturday. The sci-fi flick currently has a toxic 56% combined approval rating from nearly 15,000 Flixster users.
