Zero Dark Thirty had no problem finishing in first place again on Wednesday. The unflinching drama is building plenty of momentum thanks to a trifecta of controversy, Oscar nominations and Golden Globe win for Jessica Chastain. The Sony release is poised to hold up well during its sophomore frame.

Gangster Squad wasn't too far behind in second place. The period piece is holding up well after posting a slightly underwhelming debut.
