INDIA: 'R... Rajkumar' Dominates in Debut on December 13, 2013

R...Rajkumar_first_look.jpgR... Rajkumar led the Indian box office in its first week, posting a $6.5 million debut from 1,965 theaters. The film dominated the marketshare in India as the only film to gross above the million-dollar mark. 

Ram Leela came in second place in its fourth frame with a $410k tally. The film has grossed a total of $16.6 million in India. 

Bullet Raja suffered a steep slide in its first hold, falling to third place on the chart. Bullet Raja has disappointed with a $5.7 million domestic cume.

INDIA: 'Bullet Raja' Leads Slow Weekend on December 06, 2013

bullet_raja.jpgBullet Raja missed the mark with a  %5.4 million bow across 1,961 theaters in India. Producers will be happy with the first place finish but disappointed that the debut figure couldn’t reach a higher plane during a slow weekend at the Indian box office.

Ram Leela held on to a $1.4 million take in its third frame, reaching a $16.4 million cume in the market. The film has grossed $2.6 million in North America.

Singh Saan the Great finished its first hold with $940K, bringing its domestic cume to $4.2 million. The film has grossed $217K going into its third weekend in North America. 

Krrish 3 slid down to mid-table as it continues its successful run in India with a $32.3 million cume.

Ram Leela maintained the top spot in India for a second consecutive week and the film’s North American performance is equally as strong. Ram Leela grossed $170K in its third frame in North America, reaching a $2,633,885 cume.

Singh Saab the Great broke the $200K mark in limited release in North America. There are only 54 prints of the film playing in North America. Singh Saab the Great has grossed a cume of $210,940 in the market.

Krrish 3 is slowing down its run in North America. The superhero sequel only took $11K from its fourth week in the market, leading the film to a $2,191,343 cume.

'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein' Grosses $325K in Second Frame in North America on December 03, 2013

Romantic comedy Gori Tere Pyaar Mein dropped its location count by half in its second weekend in North America. The film grossed $199K in its first frame across 112 screens and posted a $48K hold last weekend in 56 locations. Gori Tere Pyaar Mein has grossed a total of $325,884 since its November 22 debut.
