'Krrish 3' Takes $1M Debut from North America on November 04, 2013

Krrish 3 received the widest release of any film in Indian cinema history. The sequel also received a North American roll-out over the weekend, opening in 208 screens for a $1,049,560 debut.

INDIA: 'BOSS' Takes Over the Market with $7.7M Bow on October 25, 2013

BOSS premiered in 2,076 theaters for a $7.7 million bow in India, a commanding performance among the domestic films in the territory. The courtroom biopic Shahid opened in limited release to a $467K take from 445 theaters, far from challenging BOSS at the box office.

War.. Chhod Na Yaar broke the $1 million mark in its hoem country over its second week, reaching a $1.04 million cume. Other top performing domestic films in India include Grand Masti ($15.2M), Besharam ($8.7M), Phata Poster Nikhla Hero ($5.9M), and The Lunchbox ($3.2M).
