New Trailer: 'Himmatwala' on January 24, 2013

Hollywood's obsession with the '80s is now spreading to India.

Himmatwala is director Sajid Kahn's take on an '80s hit of the same name. "This is not a remake, it is a different film with a new essence. It is just based in the 1983 and we have bought the rights of the old film," Kahn tells Bollyspice. 

The original film is about a school master who witnesses a murder, and it was a remake of a 1981 Telegu-language film titled Ooriki Monagadu.

Director Ram Gopal Varma tackles the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks that killed 164 and wounded more than 300 in The Attacks of 26/11, a new film that Eros will release on March 1. 'Murder 3' North American Release Date Changed on January 16, 2013

Murder 3's release date has been changed to February 14. The release date in India is February 15. 

Synopsis: A hot-shot fashion and wildlife photographer Vikram gets into a relationship with Nisha. She moves in with him in his palatial house outside of the city. The old world house, made decades ago is as beautiful as it is scary. It holds many secrets which Nisha is soon to unearth; of the life of the man who made it and of Vikram, who is dealing with the mysterious disappearance of his former girlfriend Roshni.

BOX OFFICE: 'Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola' Posts Strong Debut on January 13, 2013

20th Century Fox reports that Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola raked in $6.5 million from 2,100 screens in nine markets. Matru finished first in India with $5.5 million from 1,850 screens, which marks the highest opening ever for a Vishal Bhardwaj film.
