London Courts Indian Filmmakers on November 30, 2012

India's popular Housefull franchise is heading to London with the third installment, according to a report. The location filming comes as part of a move on London's part to encourage Indian producers and filmmakers to use the city in upcoming blockbuster films. That film's producer, Sajid Nadiadwala, is also being courted by London Mayor Boris Johnson to make his directorial debut, Kick, in London.

BOX OFFICE: 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' Becomes #1 Indian Release Of 2012 In North America on November 26, 2012

jabposter.jpgAfter just 14 days in theaters, Jab Tak Hai Jaan is the highest-grossing film from India to play in North America this year.

The Yash Raj release has grossed $3,047,539 million in North America as of November 26. That tops Barfi!, the previous 2012 leader, which earned $2.8 million in the States after opening on September 14.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan star Shah Rukh Khan has enjoyed a lot of success in North America. 2010's RA. One grossed $2.5 million. 

 

BOX OFFICE: Updated North American Grosses For 'Son of Sardaar' and 'English Vinglish' on November 26, 2012

Son-Of-Sardaar-poster-380x500.pngSon of Sardaar earned another $113,592 from 109 locations in North America this past weekend. The Eros release's cume in North America is $713,754.

English Vinglish added $1,234 from 88 locations, pushing its North American total to an impressive $1,862,086.
