UPDATED: ‘The Hunger Games’ Grosses $8.051 Million on Wednesday

Thursday Afternoon Update: Lionsgate reports that The Hunger Games grossed $8.051 million on Wednesday, pushing the film's domestic total to $181.759 million.

Wednesday Afternoon Update: Lionsgate reports that The Hunger Games grossed $10.348 million on Tuesday.  That brings the five-day domestic cume for the film to a massive $173.708 million.

Tuesday Afternoon Update: Lionsgate reports that The Hunger Games raked in $10.823 million on Monday, pushing its domestic cume to a whopping $163.359 million.

Monday Morning Update: Lionsgate reports that The Hunger Games officially made $152.5 million domestically over the weekend. That's still high enough to give in the best non-sequel opening of all time. Hunger Games' opening ranks in third place behind Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and The Dark Knight

Sunday Morning Update: Lionsgate reports that The Hunger Games will make $155 million domestically during its debut frame. That's the best non-sequel opening of all time and it ranks in third place behind only Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and The Dark Knight. Hunger Games grabbed another $59.25 million abroad.

Saturday Morning Update: Lionsgate reports that The Hunger Games made $68.25 million on Friday. That's the highest non-sequel Friday gross and the 5th highest Friday gross.

Friday Morning Update #2:
Lionsgate reports that The Hunger Games made $19.735 million from midnight shows, giving it the highest non-sequel midnight gross of all time. The Hunger Games ranks seventh on the list of best midnight grosses.
