MOVIEFONE AND FANDANGO – TWO OF THE BIGGEST NAMES IN MOVIEGOING – FORGE FIRST-TIME TICKET SALES PARTNERSHIP

LOS ANGELES, CA -- Fandango and AOL's Moviefone, two of the biggest names in moviegoing, announced today that Fandango will be the exclusive ticketing partner for Moviefone, marking the first-ever partnership between the two companies.
"Partnering with Fandango gives Moviefone users an upgraded experience by allowing them to buy tickets from twice as many theaters with more options," states Jay Kirsch, SVP and General Manager, AOL Marketplace. "This move bolsters our already extensive web and mobile offerings, including our Moviefone iPad App, and enhances the overall Moviefone experience for our audience."
Through Fandango, this new collaboration provides Moviefone consumers the ability to make ticketing purchases online, on mobile devices, and on tablets for Fandango's vast network of 20,000 screens, the wide majority of theaters across the country.

Moviefone will also be able to offer users mobile barcoded ticketing, powered by Fandango, allowing consumers to get their movie tickets sent to their phones and have them scanned by the ticket-taker.
