Disney Hits $1.5 Billion Domestically In 2012

Disney reports that their 2012 domestic box office crossed the $1.5 billion mark on Saturday.
Top earners:
Marvel's The Avengers: $623.4 million
Brave: $237.2 million
Wreck-It Ralph: $169.9 million*
The Mouse House rebounded quickly after a tough first quarter that brought the massive failure of John Carter. Marvel's The Avengers set a new opening-record with $207.4 million during the first weekend in May en route to becoming #3 highest grossing film of all time (unadjusted). Brave and Wreck-It Ralph have also exceeded expectations.
