UPDATED: 'Django Unchained' Reaches $68.6 Million Domestically

Monday (1/1/13) Update: TWC reports that Django Unchained's domestic total is up to $68.6 million.
Sunday (12/30) Update: TWC reports that Django Unchained is poised to grab $30.7 million this weekend. If the estimate holds, Django's total will be $64 million.
Saturday (12/29) Update: TWC reports that Django Unchained took another $9.7 million on Friday, pushing its domestic cume to $43 million.
Friday (12/28) Update: TWC reports that Django Unchained raked in another $8.3 million, pushing its domestic cume to $33.3 million.
Thursday (12/27) Update: The Weinstein Company reports that Django Unchained grabbed another $10.006 million on Wednesday, bringing the film's two-day domestic gross to $25.018 million.
Previously: The Weinstein Company reports today that Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained took in slightly over $15 million on Tuesday. The figure was strong enough to put the film in second place for the day behind Les Miserables.
The impressive $15 million figure tops Tarantino's previous best opening day (Inglorious Basterds with $14.4 million) while also representing the third best Christmas Day opening of all-time (behind Sherlock Holmes and Les Miserables) and fifth best overall Christmas Day gross (behind Sherlock Holmes, Avatar, Meet the Fockers and Les Miserables, respectively).
