THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 2 TO BE RELEASED IN THE UK AND OTHER SELECT IMAX® THEATRES INTERNATIONALLY on October 16, 2012
LOS ANGELES -- IMAX Corporation (NYSE:IMAX; TSX:IMX) and Summit Entertainment, a LIONSGATE® (NYSE: LGF) company, today announced that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 will be digitally re-mastered into the immersive IMAX® format and released in the UK through Entertainment One in IMAX® theatres starting November 16, 2012. The film will also screen in the IMAX format in select IMAX theatres in other international markets. The fifth installment of Summit's Twilight Saga film franchise is directed by Bill Condon and stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

The IMAX release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience® with proprietary IMAX DMR® (Digital Re-mastering) technology. The crystal-clear images coupled with IMAX's customized theatre geometry and powerful digital audio create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie.

'Ted' Becomes Highest Grossing Original R-Rated Comedy Of All Time on October 15, 2012
Ted grossed $14.4 million from 2,736 locations in 43 international territories this weekend, pushing its total abroad to $251 million. With $470 million worldwide, Ted has now passed The Hangover ($467.5 million worldwide) to become the world's highest grossing R-rated comedy of all time.
Ted has yet to open in four international territories: Malaysia (October 18), India (October 26), Venezuela (December 21) and Japan (January).
