Los Angeles -- Advance tickets for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 will go on sale on Fandango on October 1, more than six weeks before the movie's November 18 release date. According to a recent survey, Fandango moviegoers named Breaking Dawn, Part 1 as the most anticipated movie of the fall season.
As the fan frenzy starts to build, Fandango has devised a unique email promotion to promote its advance ticket sales - timed to today's landmark date on Twilight fans' calendars. (September 13 is the fictional birthday of Bella Swan, the saga's main protagonist.)
Today, the nation's leading moviegoer destination emailed an elegant online "wedding invitation" for Isabella Marie Swan and Edward Anthony Masen Cullen -- to help build excitement for the upcoming big screen event. The digital invitation, complete with e-envelope and designed by Paperless Post (www.paperlesspost.com), was sent exclusively to Fandango's previous Twilight ticket buyers earlier today.
According to a Fandango survey, the Breaking Dawn, Part 1 event that fans are most looking forward to is the infamous headboard-breaking honeymoon scene. The wedding event and Bella's childbirth rounded out the list:
- The Honeymoon 37%
- The Wedding 32%
- The Childbirth 31%
