FLUSHING, N.Y. - The New York Mets, in partnership with Screenvision and Clearview Cinemas, today announced a series of June, July and August "Mets at the Movies" events in New York City, Long Island and New Jersey. "Mets at the Movies" - a live in-cinema viewing replicating the game experience at Citi Field - premieres Wednesday, June 17 at 7pm at Clearview's legendary Ziegfeld Theatre in midtown Manhattan when the Mets visit the Baltimore Orioles. Tickets are $12.00 and on sale now for the June 17 event at www.Mets.com/Movies.
Fans, while watching SNY's high-definition broadcast on a 50 ft. x 23 ft. viewing screen, will participate in giveaways, including movie packages, Mets tickets, and merchandise. Mr. Met and the Pepsi Party Patrol will be on-hand to join fans in the festivities.
Each of the two previous "Mets at the Movies" events sold out the Ziegfeld's 1,100 seats.
