Adam Sandler, Judd Apatow, Sylvester Stallone, Jon Favreau and Cher will voice animals in MGM’s The Zookeeper, a comedy about a zoo employee—played by Kevin James—who receives dating advice from the many creatures he interacts with. Frank Coraci ( Click ) will direct and Happy Madison, Sandler’s label, will produce.

Sandler and James will reunite under the Madison banner for the first time since I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, a comedy that grossed $120 million domestically in the summer of 2007. James last starred in Madison’s Paul Blart: Mall Cop, which totaled $146 million in the U.S. this past January.

Sandler will headline Apatow’s highly anticipated Funny People, set for a July 31 release. Stallone and Favreau are currently helming The Expendables and Iron Man 2, respectively, and Cher recently signed on to star with Christina Aguilera in Burlesque.
