Nighy Joins 'Potter' Cast

British actor Bill Nighy will be joining the cast of the final installment of the popular fantasy franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, according to reports . Production on Deathly Hallows is already underway and is scheduled to be released as two separate films in November 2010 and July 2011.

Nighy is no stranger to big budget fantasy fare like Harry Potter, having recently starred in last year’s Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, which grossed a profitable, but menial $45.8 million in the U.S. Audiences may also remember Nighy from such films as Shaun of the Dead and for his role as Davy Jones in the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels, which combined for an incredible $732 million in ticket sales domestically.
