Colin Hanks will reportedly star alongside Ari Graynor and Jeffrey Tambor in Lucky, an indie comedy written by Saturday Night Live writer Kent Sublette. The movie, about an amateur serial killer who wins the lottery and tries to track down the woman of his dreams, starts shooting next week in Iowa and will be directed by Gil Cates Jr.

Hanks was last seen in The Great Buck Howard opposite John Malkovich and Emily Blunt. Unfortunately, despite winning mostly positive reviews, Howard grossed less than $1 million domestically. The young actor will next appear opposite Patrick Wilson in Barry Munday, which opens later this year.
