'Paranormal Activity' Headed for Wide Release

According to Paramount, over 1,000,000 people from around the country demanded the film play in their city by logging on to ParanormalMovie.com. As a result, the thriller will be expanding to a wide release starting on October 16.

Tickets for the movie will be on sale via ParanormalMovie.com by 5 p.m. PT on Tuesday, October 13th. Those who have ‘demanded it’ will get the first alert when tickets go on sale.

Paranormal Activity raked in $2.54 million on Friday night for an average of $15,875 at 159 locations.
