The wrestler-turned-actor will try to find a broader audience

After venturing into the world of cinema with action flicks such as The Marine and 12 Rounds, John Cena and WWE will team up for Brother's Keeper, a project aimed at family audiences. Patricia Clarkson, Danny Glover, Devon Graye and Madeleine Martin have also joined the cast.
Cena has yet to prove that he's a reliable box office draw. The Marine grossed $18.9 million in 2006, but 12 Rounds only managed $12.2 million.
It's obvious that Cena is trying the same approach that brought Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson his success in movies. Johnson started out in action films like
Walking Tall
and
The Rundown
before eventually teaming with Disney on
The Game Plan
and
Race to Witch Mountain.
