Tuesday Morning Update: Playing For Keeps began its week with 1,654 tweets and 2.94% market share. The film is aiming squarely for females in the 30+ bracket. Unfortunately I think the Football (soccer) backdrop probably won't do it any good amongst this target audience while most men will stay away except for movie nights with their significant others. By comparison, New Year's Eve had 4,128 tweets on its Monday before release on this very same weekend last year. New Year's Eve had a massive ratio of close to 6,000 thanks largely to its all star cast and while Playing For Keeps also has an impressive lineup its not in the same realm. I could see a ratio here in the ~2,000 - ~2,500 range which would put it in the mid to high single digit range for the weekend given its current trajectory.
