WHDStill.jpgA $2 million debut for White House Down was enough to put Roland Emmerich's latest film at the top of the French box office. Olympus Has Fallen put in a $1.2 million debut en route to a $2.7 million cum earlier this year, suggesting a stronger run for White House Down in the coming weeks.

The Conjuring finished its third weekend with a $6.8 million cume while Red 2 slid down to third place with a $1.1 million hold in its sophomore frame. Red 2 has grossed a total of $4 million, putting it in range to match the $6.9 million earned by the original. Now You See Me continued its magical run in France by reaching a $24 million total.
