'Ocho Apellidos Vascos' Continues Shattering Records in Spain

The film added $4.7 million from 320 dates to teach a $59.7 million total in its home country after 45 days of release, and it is set to pass Titanic as the second highest grossing flick of all time in Spain behind Avatar. The film is the highest grossing Spanish-language effort of all time in its home market. Ocho Apellidos Vascos has recorded more consecutive #1 weekends than any other Spanish film in Spain. Avatar and Titanic hold the overall record with nine consecutive weekends. Ocho Apellidos Vascos is Universal’s highest grossing film of all time in Spain.
