MORRISTOWN, NJ & LOS ANGELES, CA -- Cinedigm Digital Cinema Corp. (NASDAQ: CIDM), the global leader in digital cinema, today announced the worldwide release of Theatre Command Center-Enterprise (Enterprise), a powerful software solution designed to streamline and automate circuit-wide digital cinema operations. Enterprise was designed in conjunction with Cinedigm's industry leading Theatre Command CenterTM TMS to provide real-time, consolidated digital theatre information and to centralize certain scheduling and content management tasks and allow exhibitors to save significant time and money through automation.

Real-time events and statuses from all networked digital theatres are captured in a robust central Enterprise database for unprecedented operating control and business intelligence. Enterprise also centralizes preshow scheduling and content management functions to eliminate repetitive theatre tasks, improve consistency and control and reduce specialized resource costs and weekly setup time. Enterprise will also streamline and automate the calculation and reconciliation of virtual print fees.

"The Theatre Command Center is already the most automated and easy to use TMS on the market. Enterprise moves us very close to our goals of 15 minute weekly scheduling and virtually hands-free theatre operations, while dramatically increasing circuit-wide awareness, efficiency and control," said Jim Miller, President of Cinedigm Software. "We are currently working with a major UK business partner who has already installed over 40 TCC screens to bring Enterprise to Ireland and Europe, and are in discussions with several others."

Chatsworth, California -- Datasat Digital Entertainment’s AP20 was the audio processor of choice for the Daniel Sorano National Theatre Inauguration in Senegal and recently installed and demoed across the globe in select and premier theatres.

As part of an effort to reintroduce cinema in West Africa, Au Cinema Ce Soir outfitted the Daniel Sorano National Theatre with new AP20 16-channel Audio Processor in addition to Digital Cinema and 3D kit.

“The AP20 was selected as the audio processor for both its optimized equalization system and its endless possibilities of inputs,” explained Boris Visonneau, Technical Support Engineer at R2D1, the French distributor for Datasat Digital Entertainment equipment.

President of the Republic of Senegal Abdoulaye Wade and President of the Republic of Burundi Pierre Nkurunziza were in attendance for the theatre’s inaugural event, a screening of Walt Disney Pictures’ Alice in Wonderland in April.

Across the Atlantic, Framingham’s AMC Theatre was host to an AP20 demo in June. Dealers and industry professionals were in attendance to hear the audio processor’s openness and clarity.

"The AP20 sounds brilliant with a clarity that is the best I've heard coming from a cinema audio processor,” stated John Allen, President of High Performance Stereo and responsible for tuning hundreds of premier theatre houses around the world.

The AP20 Audio Processor, along with Datasat’s full line of cinema products, can be viewed at Cine Expo in Booth #141.

Director M. Night Shyamalan has begun shopping his latest project around town. As usual, the filmmaker is trying to keep details under wraps, although it has been revealed that the film already boasts previous Shyamalan collaborator Bruce Willis and stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Bradley Cooper as attached names.

Shyamalan burst onto the scene with 1999's The Sixth Sense, only to see his directorial clout fall in the wake of poorly-received bombs such as The Village and Lady in the Water. The filmmaker tried to shake things up with The Happening, going for an R-rating for the first time, and made little headway in recapturing his former success.

The director recently completed a live-action adaptation of the popular Nickelodeon cartoon "Avatar: The Last Airbender". Simply titled The Last Airbender (thanks to James Cameron's picture), Paramount made the decision to convert the film to 3D in post-production, and will open the film wide on July 1st. Tweet and facebook tracking data isn't compiled yet, but a hit could really help Shyamalan's leverage in getting this new project off the ground.

Lionsgate has acquired director Marc Forster's Machine Gun Preacher for release in the United States. Lionsgate previously released Forster's Monster's Ball, which earned Halle Berry an Oscar and scored a Best Original Screenplay nomination. Forster's last film was the James Bond film Quantum of Solace in 2008.

The film, which is just about to go into production, is based on the story of Reverend Sam Childers, who leaves behind a life of crime to fight for the rights of African children in a war-torn region of the country. Gerard Butler will play Childers, with Michelle Monaghan as his wife and Michael Shannon as his best friend.

Shooting will begin on July 5th in Detroit and South Africa. The film will be released in 2011.
