These DLP Cinema projection systems are used throughout the world in many different applications: With Hollywood cinema, including powering every IMAX® digital theatre worldwide; with local content cinema, such as Chinese and Indian movies; and as the industry standard for post production studios and facilities. Other venues where DLP Cinema can be found include high end home theatres, cruise ships, theme parks, and even one-of-a-kind special events like the opening ceremony of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, and the Shanghai World Expo.
DLP Cinema's application versatility and its immense growth, fueled by strong demand for digital cinema and digital 3D equipment in the Asia Pacific region especially, have helped TI and DLP Cinema customers to lead the world in digital cinema deployments.
