Disney is reportedly telling the cast and crew of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides to set aside a chunk of time in order to shoot two more sequels.

Rob Marshall (Nine) took over for Gore Verbinski on the latest installment. On Stranger Tides will feature Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow in a more prominent role, and it will also be released in 3D.

Depp already has two major commitments in 2011: Dark Shadows for Tim Burton and The Long Ranger for Verbinski. That could complicate things.

The Pirates of the Caribbean films have grossed more than $2.5 billion worldwide.
