The only concession to originality in this obviously low budget, video-shot horror flick is that the action picks up near the end of the six months, instead of at the beginning. Otherwise, the unimaginatively titled “My Little Eye” marries the amateurishness of “The Blair Witch Project” with the illogic of “Series 7: The Contenders” to create a completely crass and forgettable movie. It's a safe bet that most viewers will be logging off before the proceedings come to their sorry end. Starring Jennifer Sky, Laura Regan, Sean Cw Johnson and Kris Lemke. Directed by Mark Evans. Written by David Hilton. Produced by Jon Finn, Alan Greenspan and Jane Villiers. A Focus release. Horror. Not yet rated. Running time: 95 min.
My Little Eye
Five young people, strangers to each other, have been chosen to stay for six months in an isolated house, their every activity captured by cameras and broadcast on the Internet. If they outlast the time period, don't break curfew and don't flee, they collect a million dollars. The catch: Someone doesn't want them to win--or to live.
