The Australian International Movie Convention (AIMC) at Jupiters Hotel & Casino, Gold Coast, Australia is less than six months away and the Early Bird price is still available!

1. More opportunities to network with industry peers
The AIMC is one of the biggest cinema industry conventions in the Southern Hemisphere which provided unprecedented networking and business-building opportunities. Approximately 1,000 Delegates from Film Exhibition, Distribution, Production and Allied Trades will converge on Queensland's Gold Coast for the 4 ½ day event.

2. Be the first to see Blockbuster movies slated for Christmas release and beyond
Major and independent studios present the most up-to-date product slated for 2014/2015 release - screening trailers, extended footage and preview movies - much of which will be viewed for the first time! Jupiters Theatre is converted to a state-of-the-art digital and 3D venue for the duration of the AIMC providing an exceptional viewing experience.

3. A local and global market perspective
Our panels and key note speakers include international and local leaders in their respective fields from cinema operation, film distribution, marketing and technology companies. Seminars provide an understanding of how rapid technological change is affecting the business; what other industry advances are in the pipeline; how to benefit from these threats and opportunities; and an opportunity to present a united voice that will ensure our industry will continue to prosper.

4. Trade exhibition
Today's cinema owner is demanding and discerning when it comes to the building of new cinemas or the remodelling and maintenance of existing ones - the market is competitive and stakes are high. The Trade Exhibition provides essential exposure for any company that serves the cinema industry.

5. All under one roof
Jupiters Hotel & Casino is the AIMC venue for all Convention activities. Function and seminar rooms, Trade Show, Theatre and accommodation are all within a five minute walk so there's no need to leave the building (unless the swimming pool beckons). An added bonus is that Jupiters Hotel & Casino is located in the heart of Broadbeach with its shopping, dining and beach facilities just minutes away.

6. Value for Money
Registration for the AIMC covers all activities listed in the Delegate program right through from a buffet breakfast to all screenings, lunches, seminars, dinners, networking functions and an exclusive delegate bar.

7. An enviable track record
The AIMC has been running since 1945 so this year marks our 69th Convention so we must be doing something right! Over 75% of our delegates responding to our 2013 post-AIMC survey had attended two or more conventions, but there's always room for more!

8. Early Bird Special Price
If you book before August 30th you'll save over AUD$230 on your full registration!

9. Destination
The attractions of the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia make the region an ideal destination for conferences and many delegates choose to extend their stay either before or after the convention. With 300 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, the Gold Coast offers a full spectrum of interactive entertainment - from dazzling big-budget theme parks to small, hilariously kitsch museums; world-renowned beaches and over 70 kilometres of pristine coastline; world-class golfing facilities; sporting events from surfing to V8 supercars; sophisticated dining and shopping precincts; shows and live entertainment; lush, green Hinterland - just a few of the reasons 10.5 million visitors flock to this vibrant city each year; a destination as scenic and peaceful as it is fast-paced and active.
