- Over the last couple days Thor: The Dark World has unveiled a couple more clips than have given it a massive shot in the arm. The first film had a surprisingly solid $65 million opening and decent legs in the following weeks. With the popularity of Avengers where Thor played a key role I would be very surprised if this didn't zoom past the opening weekend tally of its predecessor.
- Non-Stop unveiled its first trailer yesterday where it took in just over 2,000 tweets. Not an overwhelming number by any means but considering that the first trailer for The Grey barely topped 800 tweets it is more than serviceable. Neeson draws in older audiences which are not a well represented number on Twitter, which have led to most of his recent films flying largely under the radar on the service.
- Best Man Holiday had an advanced screening in New York yesterday which gave it a nice bump in traffic. Great way to drum up excitement for the film which is now a month out. Given the strong recognizable cast list and social media push it has a great shot at turning a strong profit.
